Award Wining Television Host, International Public Speaker, Business Owner, Coach And Mentor - Troy McClain

Troy McClain

Troy McClain was born in Anchorage, Alaska in1971. As the son of a construction worker, Troy's family moved from job to job, in small towns and fishing villages like Kwethluk, Bethel and Yakutat. Like other kids who moved from school to school, Troy was often in trouble, and settled disputes with his fists. Each summer, Troy would stay with his grandfather in Eureka, Montana, where he learned to hunt fish and live off the land. Through these frequent trips back and forth from Alaska to Montana, Troy's Grandpa Nick taught him to be strong, tough and stick up for not only himself but those who could not stick up for themselves. Troy soon took on hobbies like boxing, wrestling, and hockey, anything that was physical and challenging.

As he matured, Troy realized that his family needed him, and in order to take care of them, he would have to focus on positive endeavors and become more responsible. After high school, college wasn't an option because of his mother and sister's need for financial support.

Through hard work and street smarts, Troy began to make his fortune. He started a party promotion house, and in 1994 he opened his own health club. While juggling a variety of different entrepreneurial efforts, Troy also devoted his energies toward the Morning Star Boys' Ranch outside of Spokane, where he started a boxing program for troubled boys.

Troy made the leap into the mortgage and lending industry after spending several years in the health club business. Using tactics he learned from the "school of hard knocks", Troy was consistently one of the top producers in 1995 for new hires in both fees and volume. By 1996, Troy was working in management for another mortgage bank. Troy continued to nurture his entrepreneurial spirit as he leveraged his experiences in the lending industry to buy and sell real estate.

With a growing real estate portfolio, Troy began using a personal line of credit to lend and finance his own dealings. Moving to Boise, Idaho in 1998 his career was thriving, his family was healthy and Troy was minutes away from world class hunting and fishing. In addition to building his wealth and enjoying the great outdoors, Troy continued to stay active in the sports he loved so much, boxing, wrestling and grappling.

Today, Troy McClain is an award wining television host, international public speaker, business owner, coach and mentor. Troy is one of the most sought after public speaker and business coach, and continues to work in television as both a host and commentator, all of which keep Troy's entrepreneurial spirit alive and thriving.
